| Project description | Revitalise create revitalising holidays for disabled people and carers, including a vast and varied range of excursions, daily activities and live entertainment, coupled with expert 24-hour nurse-led care. Revitalise also give carers the opportunity to have a rest. Carers can either choose to accompany their loved one, or enjoy their own break elsewhere. Volunteers stay on a residential basis at their centres and provide companionship and support to guests during their holiday. For longer term volunteers they also provide opportunities to be trained in healthcare. |
