| Project description | The town of Saltpond has about five missionary schools open to all the children in the community. However there is one which is managed by the Methodist church largely made up of children of the fisher folks and the market women. These parents who are busy with their daily fishing and marketing activities give little or no attention to the studies of their wards. This has resulted in making the work of the teachers very tedious with very large work load. Because of this the school seeks the assistance of volunteers in the promotion and achieving of quality education and lifelong learning. |
