| Project description | Mutur Peace center was established in 2009 to cater specially the children of the area. Mutur is situated in Trincomalee district in the Eastern cost of Sri lanka. The area was affected by the war and tsunami while flooding time to time. Mutur is dominated by Muslim communities living together with some Tamil and Sinhala people. The main language used in the area is Tamil. We have been placing volunteers from the beggining of the project along with a Local volunteer. The main objective of the project is to promote peace, intercultural and inter ethnic understanding. |
